But the businessman in question was quick on the uptake, and for their efforts the startlet and her accomplices are in the police net.
In ‘Veerasamy,’ Padmavathy acts as the tough lady who opposes T Rajender. She resides in the Adyar area and is involved in the modeling field too. Since she was not earning enough, she wanted to get rich overnight and got some unwanted ideas.




So, in 2005, she planned to draw money from a Bangalore based business man named Pradeep Konaro (Pradeep Ponera 28) a resident of Anna Nagar. He suddenly remembered Padmavathy’s presence and invited her to a star hotel near Chennai airport. The duo is said to have met frequently and spent several nights together. Padma reportedly called Pradeep Ponera to a star hotel near the airport recently and the two shared intimate moments there.
Now that the golden goose had itself called her, Padmavathy went to the hotel accompanied by 2 well built young men named Nirmal and Sanjay. When Pradeep was enjoying himself with Padmavathy, Sanjay videotaped it. On realizing this, Pradeep yelled. And Padmavathy turned a real vamp.

She threatened to call the police and say she had been raped by him if he raised a hue and cry and demanded 10 lakhs from him. Pradeep gave her 6 lakhs in cash. Till the balance was given to her, Padmavathy decided to retain his laptop, 5 credit cards and 3 cell phones and sent him back empty handed.
When Padmavathy went home and operated the laptop, she came to know that Pradeep was expecting about 2000 crores from abroad. Immediately, Padmavathy’s demand rose from 10 lakhs to 10 crores and she called up Pradeep and told him so.
Since the situation was going from bad to worse, Pradeep informed the police and Padmavathy was arrested since her true colors were revealed. Now Padmavathy and the 3 supporting actors who were in league with her, are behind bars in Puzhal.
