Hariharan has released his new album Waqt Par Bolna. For all his fans waiting for this, the album is a listener’s delight. A star-studded evening was celebrated as the maestro A. R. Rahman unveiled Hariharan’s new album Waqt Par Bolna in the city on Tuesday. Hariharan delighted all with an exhilarating performance from his new album. His new album spiels a synthesis of rhythm & blues fused with Indian gayaki in contemporary style. Hariharan’s Waqt Par Bolna is a collection of 10 songs which are unique in style and fall under the genre of “Urdu Blues”, a terminology coined by Hariharan himself. “Waqt Par Bolna contains emotions, harmony and music that I believe every individual will cherish. The album has been created by musicians from various backgrounds. It is creative, different and a mix of east and west” says Hariharan. Shridhar Subramaniam, Managing Director, SONY BMG India, added “It has been our privilege to be associated with Hariharan and his brand new album – Waqt Par Bolna.
