hi guys,
i'd been planning to start this thread for sometime now...good this long weekend came, i'll start this thread today & another of my ideas today/tomorrow well, in this thread, we are gonna discuss music...English music only, mind u if anyone wants to start a similar thread for Hindi songs, they r most welcome.. if u've seen Orkut, it wld seem that every1 is a big music fan what i was thinking was that since many of us hear good music, we shld share some thoughts of some of the good songs that we hear i mean, everyone has heard bryan adams "Summer of 69" & such stuff, but what i mean is that there's lotsa music out there that a cpl of us may have heard of but not others i mean, u hear some songs & think "man, this song is GOOD...how come i never heard it before?" actually, this idea came to me when i was watching TV...VH1 is a damn good channel, i think i heard a cpl of good songs & downloaded them...so an idea struck me on how i cld get other ppl to recommend music i've not been watching tv much for 3-4 years, so was badly out of the music scene...been listenig to the same kinda stuff as i was a cpl of years back, hardly any new additions i think all our collections will expand & get better this way there r many bands out there like Status Quo, Simon & Garfunkel, REM which not all of u may have heard i think particularly the guys based outside in US/Australia/UK/Malaysia cld give us great clues...many songs that might b popular there, we might not even have heard...so their active paticipation is requested so then i suggest that all members come & tell such songs to the other members as well then if the members wanna hear ur kinda music, they cld download it from somewhere or such if u wanna give links too, good....give in this thread if u want hoping for active participation in this thread from all of u, ppl P.S. to start us off, i'll recommend u some songs....damn nice but not many of u may have heard
ok, so here goes 1. Three Doors Down - Here Without You (my favourite song personally..this band is damn good..they even dedicated this song to Eddie Guerrero's memory when he died...another video was made featuring Eddie, it was touching, it was also shown on WWE, i think) 2. Dire Straits - So Far Away (Sachin Tendulkar's favourite band, & a DAMN nice song) ok guys, these r my 2 recommendations for today...nice lyrics in both i'll keep recommending more songs, don't worry do inform me if u download these songs, & tell me how u liked them hope u guys like this thread & recommend songs actively too if u wanna suggest any changes, we can consider that..tell me |

King.. i am now staying in blore would hav loved to go to the INXS show.. but know wat?? our results were declared a couple of days bak and most of my mates failed to clear the year.. so no concert anymore
