How To "rep" Someone, Adding or removing reputation points

This tutorial has been written for those who dont know how to "rep" someone which means how to add reputation points or remove some reputation points.

Reputation points are added to praise the work of someone here on DDF Forums.

For example: you liked a topic here, you may add to the topic creator's reputation. Or may be you like someone's point of view here or may be the content he/she posted was good... or may just like that! In all these cases you wold like to add to that person's reputation.

Removing someone's reputation should only be used in RARE circumstances... Some of which may be:

> When a person is advertising other sites.
> He or she gives derogatory remarks against a respected figure like Gandhiji...
> etc

Removing reputation should only be used as an extreme step.

Here are the steps to follow to increase/decrese someone's reputation...

> When you are viewing a topic, you should see a reputation bar next to every post, just like the one shown below:



You can click on PLUS or MINUS sign to increase or decrease reputation respectively.

> When clicked, you will be shown a screen like this...



Follow instructions as shown...

LIKE ME.... I am Vey new to repping system... this tutorial really helped me tongue.gif biggrin.gif

the last time i repd sum one... was : i even dont remeber whn maybe a month back tongue.gif

Right Below the reputation screen of a member there is a 'fast reply' window. If you post a message from there and increase/decrease reputation it should show 'Right Here'.

P.S. : I haven't tried it but am sure that is where this can be done from tongue.gif
